Yes, it is fine. Some people even say you burn more fat that way.

Personally, when I was in high school and did cross country and when we had practice in the morning, I never ate before (mainly because I was too lazy to get up for that), and it didn't seem to affect me. But, I don't really recommend it. You're body really does need something, if even an apple, granola bar, or small bowl of cereal before you go. Then after your work out you can have a better breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day and it took me 19 years to figure that out, lol.

It's perfectly fine to work out in the morning on an empty stomach. The best time to work out is when you have the time to do it without feeling rushed. However, if you find yourself lacking energy during your workout, have half of a banana to start or a whole small banana before your workout since your body uses carbs for fuel. Good luck!

I recently went for my yearly physical, my doctor explained that working out before breakfast may speed metabolism for the rest of the day, but some people are different, and may get headaches if working out on empty stomach.

If you exercise in the morning it is actually better than in the evening.
When you exercise before breakfast you start your metabolism going, and by the time you eat your breakfast, your metabolism is running so well, that it sets you up for the day, and also helps to digest breakfast efficiently.

just eat a tiny little meal before exercising-- a banana, a small bowl of cereal... it just helps head start your metabolism because, you know, you don't eat for 8 hours or so the night before.... I didn't eat before I exercised but i was just doing it for the heck of it...

a little exercise to get the blood moving.
it's probably not a good idea to try for a prolonged workout.

Apparently excercising in the morning is much better than at night, because you havnt eaten, you are more likely to burn off more fat, rather than food.
