People have been killing in God's name since the beginning of time. He is an easy excuse to use because he will not argue the point at this time. One day the warmongers will have to answer for their crimes as well as their using Him as a shield.

There are a lot of extremist from all religions, throughout history, that claimed some sort of moral justification for killing.
Unfortunatly, they usually choose God, and claim that's what God wants. Sad.
Peace be with you.

Many times God uses people to accomplish His purposes. If you study the Old Testament, you will see this. Sometimes a group might need to be eliminated to save the rest of the world.

just because we use God's name in our deeds, does not mean that we are doing His work.
remember, the bible teaches that there will be those who proclaim be Christ yet are not. there are those that will use the Word of God as the basis for their deeds, but are not of God.
beware and be vigilant.
