If you have committed an offence of 'Moral Turpitude' then you cannot enter the USA under the visa waiver programme. You would have to apply for a visa and visit a US embassy to get one. It is at that point that the decision to allow you entry or not would be taken.

If you were just arrested and then cautioned or had to pay a fine, then yes. But if you went to court and/or spent time in prison, then I think not. But obviously find out for sure before you go. Your obviously not a terrorist and if it was minor, then I'm sure they'll give you a visa.

yes but depends on the crime i know people couldnt go because of a conciction for posion of cannabis but plenty of sinn fein members have blown up people and been allowed in to raise money for terrorism its amazing how america can change its views once thy have seen the destruction of terrorists
