Well if you did, this would mean ceding much of the north of England to the Scots as Hadrian's Wall no longer defines the Border.
I can understand the frustration behind this question however. Many Scots come south of the Border for a better living as England can provide more opportunities than Scotland in some areas. On the whole the English are a friendly people who are not at all bothered about this and if they chat to you about where you are from, usually say what a beautiful country Scotland is and how much they enjoy holidays up there. However there is a vocal minority of Scots (and I stress MINORITY) who seem to come across as professional English haters. They are petty, small minded and if their behaviour were ascribed to any other ethnic group, they would be described as racist. There is a growing number of people in England who are starting to realise that they do not need to put up with this. It was heartening to read the universal condemnation in Scotland from prominent Scottish politicians of the mindless thugs who beat up a disabled man in a wheelchair and a young lad and his Dad who were playing in a park, just because they were wearing England football shirts. I know that the vast majority of Scots would also deplore this behaviour and be ashamed of it as they are a lovely people. However I have to say that I don't think the same thing would have happened in reverse in England.

properly in case you probably did, this can propose ceding many of the north of england to the Scots as Hadrian's Wall no longer defines the Border. i'll understand the sadness behind this question besides the undeniable fact that. Many Scots come south of the Border for a more desirable proper residing as England can provide more desirable opportunities than Scotland in some parts. on the comprehensive the English are a delightful those who're lower than no circumstances afflicted about this and in the adventure that they chat to you about the position you're from, frequently say what an attractive united states Scotland is and the way a lot they delight in vacation trips up there. besides the undeniable fact that there is a vocal minority of Scots (and that i stress MINORITY) who look to come back in the technique as specialist English haters. they're petty, small minded and if their behaviour were ascribed to the different ethnic crew, they could be defined as racist. there's a starting to be type of people in England who're starting up to comprehend that they do no longer want to submit with this. It replaced into heartening to ascertain the common condemnation in Scotland from fashionable Scottish politicians of the senseless thugs who beat up a disabled guy in a wheelchair and a youthful lad and his Dad who were taking area in in a park, basically because they were donning England football shirts. i know that almost all of Scots might want to also deplore this behaviour and feel embarrassment about it as they're an attractive people. besides the undeniable fact that I even might want to assert that i do not imagine an analogous ingredient might want to have occurred in opposite in England.

No, it's not the Northern Barbarians we have to worry about anymore. They are too busy burning down thatched cottages, stealing sheep and tossing telegraph poles about in order to impress the womenfolk to cause us any problems. And the men wear frocks. Strange.
What we should do is build a huge wall, three or four hundred feet high roughly circular in shape - all the way around the around Milton F*ck*ng Keynes.

Scotland is now getting more Plastic Scots back than are emigrating to south of the border. I take it you are trying to keep them here. Besides the area south of the Antonine wall, Glasgow to Edinburgh was at on time considered as England as it was invaded and settled by Anglo Saxons. Read Macbeth. and why Edward 1 long shanks could pass out land to his feudal vassals north of the border. % wise there aren't many Scots/Celts left in Scotland.

From my experience of being a southerner and having family and colleagues in Scotland; the Scots are more racist than the English. My idea would be to build a completely new wall around the UK to keep out the tide of illegal immigrants and those who come here "legally" demanding that we support them and their families.

Depends what you mean by England.
I live about half-a-mile south of the wall (it's line anyway) and from the viewpoint of many londoners / southerners I may as well be Scottish.
I think it would be a better idea to dig up the M25 and turn it into a bloody moat. I'm sure most Londoners think everything outside it is trees and fields anyway.

You'd have to build it pretty wide and incredibly tall to prevent us from flying or sailing South.
On the other hand, if the wall kept English twats out of Scotland it might be a good idea.
