mostly it depends on the province... You should be able to buy a car but u need a license. In ontario, u can drive with ur license for 60 days, after that u must go and register for a Class G license. You will have to take a vision/health test and knowledge test. You will get a Level 2 license and then take a road test to get your full license. Its messed up with all these levels, but thats how it is in Ont. It might be different in other provinces. Hope this helps

I know folks who have done that in the US so I'd think that Canada wouldn't be too much of a problem. The most frequent hassle is getting insurance. Some agents mistakenly think that you need to be a citizen to buy insurnace. Bring an extract of your driving record and a copy of your no claims letter from your insurance company in order to get the best rates on insurance.
Keep in mind that if you buy it in Canada, you'll need to sell or junk it there as well. You won't be able to dispose of it in the US.

I dont see why not.
Though you probably will have to insure it and register it to an address out there, which may be a problem if you are moving around the country. Where will they post the documents to?

confident. as long as you may have the funds for it, you could purchase any automobile you want, sign up it, insure it and stress it. yet note that coverage offered in Canada or the U. S. isn't strong in Mexico or in Brazil. you should get separate coverage once you depart the Canada/US section.

yeh but a lot of red tape, such as vat. check with customs to find out how much, it will probably still work out a lot cheaper than buying back in the UK
