Speaking as someone who is wheat, corn & soya intolerant (just slightly and self diagnosed) I go for oats so have an expectation of taste based on my own experience. They are also way over priced only bought them cause they were on half price deal to get people started on them. No difference in taste I am standing by that one!

All cereals are a rip off, I just eat cakes and biscuits and coffee for breakfast, it's probably healthier than a bowl of frosties anyway!
I once lived with a Bulgarian girl who said that Weetabix looked like what they used to feed pigs! She couldn't believe we eat that kind of stuff!
Also, has anyone else noticed that Edinburgh smells like weetabix? I think it's to do with the hops they are brewing nearby.
I also read somewhere that dairylea is saltier than sea water!
Have a cake for breakfast! Your body will thank you, believe me.

NOOOOOOoooooo! They don't taste the same! Oatibix are much smoother and milder in flavour, surely you must agree?! I think the world's gone OATS crazy. Oats are the new superfood or something. Oats are more filling allegedly and some people with irritable bowel syndrome aren't supposed to eat wheat because it can bloat ya out big stylee. Weetabix are trying desperately to cater for everyone. Have you noticed all the Weetabix adverts on TV? All these 'actors' pretending to be 'real' people and saying how they've rediscovered Weetabix and are trying out all these daring toppings. I like Weetabix with hot milk in the winter, but I buy the more-peasanty-by-far Asda's Savers brand "Wheat Bisks". Hmm... good name Asda. But they are just the same at a fraction of the cost. RAH!

Stuff made with oats tastes much the same as stuff made from wheat. They're both grass seed after all.
The oat variety contains less gluten and is better for people with coeliac problems. Mind you, they probably don't eat breakfast cereal anyway.

It depends whether you like oat. I suppose the logic is that people like the taste of Weetabix, and they figured that it's a good idea to make it out of oats but not want to lose people who liked Weetabix to begin with. Sort of like trying to win it all by going down the middle and not achieving either.

NO NO NO NO!!!! I bought some the other week coz I love weetabix and was a tad curious as to what they'd taste like (I live an exciting existence) But they taste horrible. You may as well eat the box they came in, it would have more flavour. I've currently put the box of oatabix next to my bin by the back door in order to remind me to feed them to the birds. I hope they like em.

Oats are better for you than wheat. People are realising this, and changing what they eat. The company is doing what companies do - providing a product to meet a demand.

They don't taste the same at all. Have you no taste buds? They are lighter and maltier and when they have gone all squishy, they look like baby ****. Best breakfast? 4 cans of Tenants Super T, 10 Bensons and a good cough.
