What should I carry with me to make my life comfortable there?

I would say buy a nice heavy winter coat for the cold winters. Why would you want to settle down in New Jersey; that state is (for lack of a better term) a real trash bin.

well a good appetite theres so much food including indian cuisine , some warm clothes winter is approaching ,maybe some vegatable seeds if you can get them through , it sounds wierd but the fact is anything will grow but my sister in law (lebonon) and wife (malaysia) wishes they had some native fresh veggies to grow ,,,some other snacks and stuff till u can find a source , but im sure you can buy almost everything there that u could find in south india MISS 518 HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THERE ON THE BEACH IN THE MOUNTAINS ATLANTIC CITY NYC??????? I LIVE IN TX NOW AND YOU DONT HAVE A CLUE THIS PLACE IS A DUST BOWL BORING WASTE LAND WHERE WOULD YOU SUGGEST SHE GO THERES MORE TO OFFER IN NJ THAN ANYWHERE I HAVE BEEN AND I HAVE BEEN AROUND THIS WHOLE COUNTRY FOR WORK MY SISTER IN LAW MOVED TO FL ORLANDO NOW SHE'S MOVING BACK !!! LIKE ANY METRO AREA THERE ARE SOME AREAS YOU MAY WANT TO AVOID LIVING IN IM IN A SMALL TOWN 50,000AND THERE ARE SOME BAD NIEGHBOR HOODS HERE but the fact is there is So much to do there nyc ac all the beaches and so much more why is nj 1 of the top vacation spots for so many ppl ac is second only to vagas ,,nyc is a huge tourist draw world wide nj is so small nyc is only a short commute
