For some unknown reason, I’m always single.. I’m 28 and I get told all the time how beautiful and intelligent and nice I am, but I guess I’m shy and I’ve only had 2 (short term) boyfriends in my life (and a handful of dates?!). Guys, do u get turned off by this? Would you wonder what’s wrong with a girl like me?

Not turned off at all. A turn off to me is a girl who has had more boyfriends than she can count on two hands. Getting around so much only shows that she cant be serious about anything and isn't worth the time. You sound like a person holding out for the right thing rather than right now. There is nothing wrong with that.

I don't believe that there is anything wrong with you. Maybe the guys that do like you don't know how to say it, or the guys aren't sure if they should ask you out. Maybe it is because they don't know if you are into them or not. 28 & single... Nothing wrong.

Personally, I get "turned on" by that. I wouldn't wonder what's wrong with you because I'm in a similiar category as yourself. Instead, I'd wonder what all the other guys didn't see in you and what I could see in you.
But hey.. that's just me.

you just have not found the right guy and when you do it will be magic. I think you being picky makes it better who wants a girl who has had numerous dates or boyfriends.

Too needy or you talk too much about getting married, kids, or you gab too much about being alone.....
Be yourself, make friends and a special person will come along.
Relationships and sex are not competitions.
