The Vargas Girls are already copyrighted, you would have to purchase it from the current owners, which I believe are Vargas' publishers (Playboy/Hugh Hefner).
given their popularity, it would be an expensive purchase.

I'm assuming that you've phrased the question wrong here and what you'd like to do is get permission to reproduce one or more of the Vargas images legally?
You could probably do this for a fee or a percentage (assuming you accept and follow their guidelines and restrictions on reproducing the art) of your sales.
Most magazine only buy 'first rights' to artists' works so I'm pretty sure the rights to the Vargas paintings that appeared in Playboy have reverted back to the Vargas family. Try contacting the Vargas Estate about leasing the art. They probably have an official website.

You can't get a copyright, if that is what you mean. If you want to use the image, you are talking about licensing. There will be a fee involved and the estate would have to approve product to use their image.

Chances are VERY good that they are already copyrighted. But you can check with the US Copyright Offices in Washington to be sure.

surely it would want to violate the very nature of artwork to precise the artist's ideas and the artwork's creation by you. So paint it with acrylic paints utilising acrylic packing bins and acrylic demonstrate situations from the sophisticated acrylic fabrication technologies.
