For Batchelors cup a soup it is Minestrone, Cauliflower & Broccoli and Tomato & Basil.

Nothing better when feeling ill than a nice bowl of Heinz tomato soup being brought to you.

I used to love what I called Alsace soup it had a picture of a chicken on the front but this could have just been a logo, no one in the family remembers what type it actually was.

I used to always have to have soup sieved so that the bitties were taken out. But now I love the bitties!!

Well there you go, you brought out my life story just by asking what my favourite soup was?!!

Out of the can, would have to be Campbell's Cream of Chicken or Tomato. If you want homemade, Ham and Wild Rice, hands down. Will share the recipe, if interested.

My personal favorite is new england clam chowder from the wharf and piers in San Francisco, CA. However, since I don't go there often...my more accessible favorites are Enchilada soup from Chili's and Sizzling Rice and wonton soups from Chinese food restaurants.

My favourite soup is chinese herbal chicken soup prepared
the way I like it by my wife who learnt the recipe from her
mother who in turn got it from her grandmother. It's an
ancient recipe kept by the chinese for a long, long time.
There are many types of chinese herbal chicken soup which
has been standardized by many chinese restaurants throughout
the world, but not this one as they are not the same.
Mind you, the chinese has many secretive recipes which are
still not discovered yet by the West.

Home made Lentil soup is my favourite, especially if it is left standing for a day tastes even better the next day.

I love home made creamy potato soup or if I'm in a hurry, Campbell's chunky clam chowder.
