Ok, this isn't dandruff, you can do as one person suggested and get some treatment or it could be something else.
There is a fungal infection that you can get on your head, due to it being on of the warmest parts on your body and theplace that you lose your heat from.
If your skin feels raw when exposed from the layers of dry skin then you can try an over the counter treatment, this may be enough.
If not you may have to go to the doctors and get some treatment, the best thing to do is avoide touching it, don't scrach if it iches and treat it with shampoo and or lotion.

There is a product called 'Polytar' which is a shampoo (bit brown, sticky and gooey - but amazing). I use it for dermatitis on the scalp which may be what you have instead of dandruff. Every expert I ask disagrees as to whether or not I have dermatitis or dandruff. But I can say that in 15 years of trying stuff it's the only thing that ever has worked. Comes in brown bottles from pharmacists (And/or Boots) only small one costs about £3.00 I think. When you put it on make sure you leave it on for a few minutes to allow it to work.
Good luck

Wash your head & hair thoroughly with any good shampoo or soap so that all the grease goes away. Apply ALUM solution on your head and rub it nicely on all your scalp. ( if you can temporarly shave your head then result will be quick) and allow it for 15 minutes then again wash your hair and dry. The itching would stop the very first day and if you apply the solution for 15 days continously then the whole dandruff will go away and to prevent one in a week application would do.

Well home remedy for curing dandruff will include first massaging the hair will some good hair oil and then applying lemon juice to your scalp. It will feel itchy but then it means that the lemon juice is working on the scalp. after an hour or when the itching stops wash you hair well.

I'd bet you a million Dollar's it's not Dandruff, it's' Cradle cap' I had it for year's and all it took to get rid of it was a' baby shampoo for Cradle cap' and it went; I'd never heard of cradle cap so I never got the right treatment.
It is not expensive and will probably clear it 100% in two washes; Since I treat mine, I've had no sign of dandruff, my head can breathe and my Hair has really come to life.

dandruff is just dry skin , massage baby oil onto your scalp and give it 10 minutes to soak in then wash your hair .
its probably caused by washing your hair to often with to strong a shampoo , try washing less frequently with Johnson's baby shampoo and it'll go away .
