I am going to live in the isle of man.?

what are the residencia rules as far as being in the country. I have different answers. Some say you have to be on the island 6 months in the first year, and some say you have to be there on an average of three months for four years. How can you prove you have been on the island. the English tax also want to know that you havent been in the country.
