Can anyone tell me how they work, what they are called and where I can buy one? My kids have played with them at our local play scheme and they also have one at their pre-school.

No, the one I'm thinking actually moves forward when you wiggle the steering wheel from side to side, your feet just rest on a platform. It's awkward to ask the preschool because the person who bought them has left :(

I found the website (okay, I asked the preschool where they came from) but here it is - they ARE great and much cheaper than I expected them to be. Cheers for all your help.

the quickest way to find out is ask the pre school where they bought theres if they dont know ask to look at it and look for branding.

My son has one, its not powered its just a ride-on that you move along with your legs, but the sterring wheel turns and alters the direction it travels in.

It was from the Early Learning Centre.

they also sell them on the ideal world shopping channel sometimes they have them on a special pick of the day for half price i think there great

we have them at our daycare centre they are called plasma cars
