you can get ur photos back as long you never replace with another photos.
Use card reader, so ur memory card detected by windows as a driver and use Undelete program to get your photos back.

u can download undelete program from www.download.com
just put undelete as the keywords. There'r plenty programs that u can use freely.
Or u can go to photo shop, and ask them to recover by paying fees, maybe like harvey norman.

I'm sure you may have heard that when you delete a file from a computer, it is never "truly deleted." That statement, however, is only partly true. The files do not get deleted after, only the space that they occupy on the disk get prepared to be written over. When you reformatted the memory card in your camera, it did exactly that, and only prepared your pictures to be written over.
SO, the first thing you have to do after format is to not save any more pictures onto that memory card or you risk writing over the photo video files that you are trying to recover!
Got that far? Now you need to choose the appropriate camera recovery software. There are a tons of different programs but some are better than others. I actually recommend a program called 001 File Recovery because they have an option that is designed for recovering media files from FORMATTED memory cards, not only deleted or corrupted photo video files. You can download this software here:

I have meet a lot of people asking similar question. The answer is absolutely Yes. You can always recover deleted photos or lost photos from your digital camera after memory card reformat. Formatting won't make the data in your memory card erased permanently. The pictures you deleted or formatted are still in camera SD card, just not accessible right now.
The best way to recover them back is trying some photo recovery programs. A nice one is Asoftech Photo Recovery that helped me before.
http://www.asoftech.com/articles/how-to-recover-deleted-photos-from-camera.html
This program can deep scan to find your lost photos first and then perform recovery with nice quality. But before your photos are recovered, please don't take more photos in case your lost photo data are overwritten.
Here is the steps you may refer while recover your photos from your camera memory card.
1. Download and install asoftech photo recovery program on your computer.
2. With your memory card inserted, Under "My Computer", note the drive letter assigned to your camera's memory card (usually G: or H:).
3. Start the photo recovery program and select the drive letter that assigned to camera memory card, click "Start".
4. Now the scanning process will start automatically to deep look for the lost pictures. You will then get a list of all recoverable ones. Check if all your pictures are there.
5. Select the pictures you want and click "Next", and you can get back lost photos from camera successfully.

It's possible, but first, "quarantine" your memory card (I assume you're storing pictures on it and not the camera's internal memory) and don't format it or take any new pictures.
Next, connect it to your computer. Does it appear as a drive with a drive letter (eg. F:)? If yes, then continue to the next paragraph. If no, you need a card reader. Get a card reader, insert your memory card and plug the reader into your computer.
Then, use a unerase software to try to recover your deleted data. There're a variety of unerase software you can use, and they usually have a trial period. Go to http://www.download.com/ and serach for the keywords "unerase", "data recovery", etc. But beware of the limitations imposed.

It may be too late now, but the previous two answers sound good.
If you have (or buy) Sandisk or Lexar cards, they are preloaded with image recovery software. You load this on your computer and then erase it from the card. Then you can use their software to recover deleted images. It may be too late to do this this time, but next time you buy a card, consider this as an asset and buy Lexar or Sandisk.
