main concern would be moisture. if the camera was stored in a dry and dark place, a high chance that you could still have film that's good! give it a try and develop it. it's the only way to know.

I work for a camera manufacturer and film is dated for 2 years, but some film can last up to 5 years is stored properly. Check out www.cameras-film.com for great Message Cameras.

I usually keep all of my batteries, film, and disposable cameras in the refrigerator in a plastic baggie. This should help keep them "fresh" a bit longer.
Good luck.

Age and heat will affect the images. Age usually referring to a couple of years but excessive heat can damage it in just a few days. Like inside a car during the summer.

yeah. they actually have an expiry date underneath the camera(at least the one i bought had one). i only found out after i sent the film to be developed and found out that some pictures didnt turn out. anyway you should still send it cause its better then wishing you had later on

The film will go bad, I have about three rolls hanging out somewhere too.
Some places will not charge you if they come out dark, or brown, I would ask around, Why do we do this....I have to go look for my film.

Come, come now m'Dear. If you are really worried you would dash-off and put the things in for processing. Where I go they don't charge for rotten pics.
