I'm at 225 right now. I can do about 6 reps to about 3/4 way down. My goal is to do 300lb one clean rep touching my chest and going back up. My body type was probably not for this much lifting and i feel i can't get past this point I'm at right not. I'm 5'8 and only 150 lbs. Though my body is probably meant to lift so much, my ego is big and I want to be the strongest guy at the gym. Please help me.

I'm willing to do anything it takes except steroids. So tell me what supplements work for you.

Let me first start by saying soy is an incomplete protein lacking some of the ten essential amino acids(if your going to advertise a protein that no weight lifter in the world uses get it strait. One of the things that you have to concentrate on is speed. You can do that by using about 65% of your one rep max for sets bringing the weight down slowly then exploding back up.These sets can be done at the end of your work out.The primary work out should be done with heavy weight(with a spotter) for 3-5 reps to failure each time.Train your bench only once a week getting sufficient rest AND TRAINING ALL THE OTHER BODY PARTS.And forget about being the strongest guy in the gym because I've seen 4 different people bench 525 and on 600 in NY.Squat and dead lift make you much stronger than bench.Check out a site called west side bar bell.Whey protein has the highest boilogical value in humans and if you're 18 or over definitely try creatine.

Soy protein is complete, all amino acids. Get 8 hours sleep. No alcohol, or caffeine. No smoking.
Good Multivit. Lift 5, rest 2, be calm. Cardio.

75 more lbs. is quite a bit more weight. you'll have to be patient and add those extra lbs. gtadually.if u have weak or small hands 7 wrists that could determine how much u can lift and how soon. use good form &technique.
