A house divided can not stand!

Satan is in some of the churches, but know which ones. Those that say you do not need to know this or that, or this has been done away with, or that has been done away with.

Those that only use part of a verse, such as:
"Money is the root of all evil"

In these you will find Satan at the pulpit!
They are not from the right, but the Left!

Then the present day, fundamentalist, Christian right would be of the Devil if they are working towards their own evil ends (fame and fortune).
The proof is in the pudding!

"In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do. "

"The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice."

"Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod."

" Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology."

"Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology."

Unfortunately. Although don't be so quick to jump on the oh so trendy anti-christian bandwagon. There are still those who don't exploit their beliefs for profit. Few and far between, but mostly due to ignorance which in turn is due to laziness.

Hi!

The question is who is a "Christian"?

If you want real information, force yourself to read the book of Acts in the bible and you will see the works of REAL CHRISTIAN...The works of real Christ follower is not politics but to become like Christ!

That is why I openly object statements that say that religions like Mormon,Catholics, Free Mason and Jehovah's Witnesses are "Christian"...By biblical difinition they are not "Christian" based on the things they believe in or do...(please feel free to check my old questions and answers)

I suspect that you have not really come across real Christians who are filled with Holy Spirit, otherwise you would be able to differentiate between people who label themselves "Christian" without being Christian and Politicians who use Christian principles without to have received Christ Himself and REAL CHRISTIANS who are FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Come to the River of Life, The Holy Spirit, Jesus.

Hug!
