You serious! You get a 3000 dollar bonus for having a baby! Well Im in Brtain and here you can get every kind of benefit goin if u have a kid!
My ex-bf was a single parent, the kid had behavioural problems (in my opinion due to bad parenting) and he received more than 600 pounds a month nearly 700 for sitting on his *** playing computer games. While I worked ma *** off for minimum wage an got paid less money.
Thats just wrong!

It does nothing to get people to get into employment when they earn more claiming benefits than they would getting minimum wage flipping burgers.

Yeah, you can get benefits if you are a single mum;. I however am not and I am struggling to survive on my husbands wages. If I go to work I can claim tax credits and the government will help pay towards child care. why don't they just pay for me to look after my child?

In uk benefits are good for single parents but just so you know many are trying to work and having a disabled child isn't an easy task.

The shock to me was not the benefits (surprised it's so little - or are you not including things like rent?)
What shocked me was a bloke being a stay-at-home single parent!

Honey, it happens everywhere, though quite unfortunate, and yes very wrong, be strong. They'll get their come uppance one day for taking advantage of the system.

Maybe you should get yourself an education and a decent job. Then you won't feel so bitter about people who have disabled children.
