This could mean a lot of things, or it could mean nothing. Fate and destiny can be seen to be a dance. The movement of planets and heavenly bodies is like a dance. The dance of ages might be the changing of the 'ages'. It could mean changes in the world that will leave things different than they were before. Perhaps something has been either building up or things have been directed to lead to an end result that will leave things redically different than they were before. Or, the dance of ages could be a metaphor for the coming of age. Like someone who is passing from childhood into adulthood. The phrase seems to hold some sort of initiation or passage or at least implies such. Or not.
