For your safety in the event of an accident. If there is a fire outside you need to know to not open doors on that side of the plane.
Why does someone ask this question every single day? Whatever you do, DON'T ASK why don't we get parachutes and why aren't planes made out of the same materials as black boxes.

It is so the Pilot/crew can easily see the flaps/engines if something doesn't feel right. I have only been on 2 flights (out of thousands) where the pilot actually came back and looked out the pasenger windows. Once was to investigate a trailing oil sray from an engine. He decided to do nothing until we landed. The 2nd was to ensure a Slat had retracted completely as he felt a slight lift/yaw to the right.

So the passengers will be aware of what happening around the aircraft..
Also, during the night, the will switch off the light n open the window shutter, so the passengers can see the outside of the airplanes clearly.. In case of accident, passengers can find escapre route faster..

So if the plane replaced into to crash, or be in some kind of emergency' rescuers might want to then see into the plane. imagine about it; you're a rescuer and also you want to maintain as many people as attainable. you will see that persons that are lifeless, and others that are alive, yet you also see closed window hues. you imagine that the persons behind the hues are alive, yet you're not from now on completely particular. So who's existence might want to you keep first? the guy who you know it is alive because you will see that them, or attempt to maintain someone the position you dont know in the adventure that they are lifeless or alive because their window color is closed??
