Australia would be my destination. I have had a fascination with Australia all of my life that is very nearly an obsession, and if you were to visit my house, you'd agree. Oz rock posters decorate the walls, and I have a Northern Territory taxicab license plate on the wall above my computer. And, if the trip was in the immediate future, I'd go to Queensland to pay my respects to Steve Irwin.

Cuba would be my second choice. I live ninety miles from Havana in Key West. I can see it on TV, and hear it on the radio, but until things change, it is a forbidden destination.

If I could go to ant place in the world, it would be Siberia, in the northeast Russia. I have studied in geography that the place lies within the Tundra and that it is uninhabited but I would do anything to get there and stay for a week or two, like the Discovery documentary photographers, alone, and feel what its like to be stranded on a remote icy corner of the Earth with nothing to see but snow and snow.

I'd go to Chicago. I miss home. I haven't been back since June 12, 1999. I live in Europe, and between work and kids, I just don't find the time or €€€. I'd really love to eat a Maxwell street Polish sawsage with extra onions and peppers. I would die happy.
