I want to buy a television, but unforutunately I don't know what is the best. Plazma TV or LCD ? Thank you

Definately LCD - plasma is a scam for warranty claims, they will not replace it unless you lose about 23 percent of your pixels. They will never be in a bunch so the manufacturers class the problem as not important that you will have dots on your picture.

LCDs give much better pictures and are much more reliable than plasma models. They also tend to weigh a lot less too. The only issue at the moment is the size. LCDs don't seem to come as big as plasma TVs but this will change if you wait a while.

All have their pros and cons. A plasma looks the best and cost the most. PLus it will gradually "die" and after 10 years it will look crappy. A LCD usually has lesser clarity but still looks pretty good. Their lumens are sometimes low. I suggest the ne dlp Tvs. They are not flat panel but for your money you get a great deal. You can get a good 52in HD one for like 2500 bucks.

LCD.Plasma is really prone to burning into the screen,is very heavy,and will need replacement.LCD is overall better.However,although plasmas have better,deeper blacks,they work better in darker rooms,while LCD's look good even in bright light.
