Hmm, I don't have any eating disorders so I'm not sure it is MY answer you're looking for. I think I eat more everyday than you do. Way more, actually.

Your ideal calorie intake depends quite a bit on how much you exersise.

No, you shouldn't go on a diet unless you consult with nutritionist. If you're worried you should ask nutritionist/doctor about it.

I know it FEELS like a lot, but it isn't. In fact, you are still so low weight, that your body most likely requires at least 3500 calories/day to help you gain weight, perhaps more. (Most patients at such a low weight require 3500+ calories plus ensure supplements...) Even if your weight was at 80lbs right now, that's still only 70% ideal body weight. Why aren't you inpatient or in residential treatment? You deserve WAY more support and care right now.

I hope you have a good treatment team. At minimum, it would be good for you to have some support by seeing a therapist (ED specialist) and an MD (to make sure you are medically stable). A nutritionist and support group would also be helpful, but may feel like too much for you all at once. Your weight is also very very low and inpatient or residential would be helpful, but it doesn't sounds like you're ready yet?

Hang in there. Get some support---at whatever level you're comfortable with.

Good luck! You shouldn't have to be in so much pain.

It is good that you are eating and that you are eating often and in small portions. This gives your weakened digestive system a chance to familiarize itself with food again. However if you start to feel nauseous and/or vomit you may want to cut back because you are adding calories to a body that doesnt remember how to process and burn food correctly. I hope this helps and good luck.

you should count the calories of the food you eat and if it's more than what you actually burn for energy, then you'll gain weight. if you reach 2,500 calories in a day, then you're good to go.

try doing it little by little, what's important is that you're recovering from the attitude that got you anorexic in the first place. continuously seek your therapist's advice and ignore those people who are making those comments about you. you are still a work in progress and you are working on making yourself feel better, and that's what is most important.
