Mee, the person asking this question is being polite and respectful. Why would you tell them to shut up and call them stupid. You are being very rude.
In answer to the question I think I would personally have a hard time with Latin Americans being the dominant ethnic group because I'm just not used to it. The time for change has come however and I don't think there is a choice. It's just how it is.

This domination you speak of is only a domination by numbers, nothing else. Here in Southern California, Latinos are pretty much the majority around here. However, they don't really "dominate" anything. I want to see hard working people advance, not any specific race. It is the most highly educated, disciplined, and motivated people that dominate. I don't care if you're black, white, red, or yellow, if you have these characteristics you deserve success, and here in the good ol' U.S. of A you get every chance to be successful. So in answer to your question, if things around here are any indication, Latinos become more numerous every day and things stay just the same...

I'm white, and it doesn't bother me.But,of course, where I come from the minority was white anyways.I went to a school where there were only about 5 or 6 white kids there. The rest were black or some other decent. It's never made me uncomfortable or anything. And it also helps that i married a hispanic man and I can speak spanish.

They dominate where I live. I call it living in the Third World. After Ortiz and other Hispanic Caucus Democrats along with their co-conspirators up north, open the border to illegal Mexicans, we will be living in a place like the one they created and fled from.

i think we would have the same problems if there were millions of mongolians moving into the united states too.
its a little unsettleing to a lot of us americans because its such a suprise to people, all of a sudden theres mexicans everywhere and no one is sure how they got here or where they really came from. a lot of people here in the north cant stand it because a good majority of them are illegal aliens so you run into problems communicating with them and just finding them in general when you have to. a lot of the time there are four or five of them living in a single bedroom apartment, and speak barely any english so its always, oh jose knows english so have him talk to them for you. it can just be difficult trying to integrate them into society when they are so hard to communicate with. i dont think a lot of people realize that this kind of thing happens all the time and all througout history.

it's a very rare complaint in the north, we're mainly sick of the war and high gas prices. white people are the one's you'd expect to care about something like that but we don't really care around here that much. they're generally good people just trying to make a living like the rest of us.
as a foot note i'd like to add that i do see police bother mexicans a lot.

Personally, that doesn't bother me. I believe that Latin people will eventually dominate and become the majority because it is said that they are the most prolific race in North America. I won't be around by then, so it won't concern me. My daughter is in love with a Honduran and the thought of little Honduran grandchildren doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is that he is an illegal immigrant and so I don't want him in her life, for that reason. I don't want to think that they come here from Mexico and Central America, leaving the problems of their countries behind because they can't be bothered to make things better there and therefore eventually they will make our country as much of a backwards cesspool as their own countries are. That's what bothers me. If they can't fix things at home, how can them coming here make things better here? They are only going to bring our country down to the level of their countries that they left. I am glad that I won't be here to see the worst of it. But I am sorry for my future grandchildren.

Your question is pretty far-fetched. Now with a population of 300,000,000 people and an ethnic groups of less than 40,000,000, does it seem likely? In Britain, I should worry more about Indians and Pakistanis, as you don't have the diversity of the US and it is more likely for your culture to be absorbed.

I am only because I lived in California and I remember how they treated me because my skin turned out white. (my dad is Mexican) I moved to a different state and have not had to deal with that for a while. I don't look forward to dealing with it again. It was not a very pleasant part of my life.
