Why is a bee sting worse than a wasp sting?

A wasp sting hurts for hours, but a 'beasting' hurts for days!

Actually, with me, and probably more people like me, a wasp sting also hurts for days, even after taking medication against the allergic reaction...

not a very good joke, slight smile is all you get, but that might be just because, as said, I'm allergic to wasp poison.

Because a wasp bites, but since its got no teeth, it does not last long. But a bee's got a sting attached to its butt, it dies after it stings, so I guess just to remind us of it.
A wasp venom is alkaline, so you can apply a lemon on it, the swelling will come down.
