It should not matter what the sex of the baby is as long as it's healthy. I wanted 3 kids to start with and could care less if they were boys or girls but I ended up having a wonderful son with health problems and stopped because I did not want to have another child with health issues and have them suffer the way my son has... Good Health is the # 1 thing a parent should want for their baby to be..

well, when I have a baby, it won't matter - i'll love them both the same.

But...I'd definetely have to say a girl - just because I can relate better, being a girl myself. And let's face it - little girl's clothes are so CUTE.

A boy wouldn't be bad though. Something different to enjoy...

My first child is due next April. All I hope is that it's healthy.

Hoping for a specific gender can lead to disappointment and resentment, so I don't think it's a good idea.
