The artist certainly tried to make it look like a Picasso, but it lacks Picasso's magic, to many details, while Picasso was a deconstructivist, so it is a bad example of a cubist artist imitating the master.

Picasso was hardly the only artist painting in a similar style during the 1910-1920s. He was simply the one who became more famous for doing so.

But I'm not sure this Roaring 20s looking painting is by Picasso. It looks more like an Ernest Kirchner painting to me.

It certainly looks like Picasso and the subject looks like Dora Marr (Picasso's girlfriend) but I have never seen it before so I expect it is not by Picasso but by someone using Picasso's style of painting.

"The Scream" is likely considered one of the international's maximum recognizable artistic endeavors. It depicts a guy in a private 2nd of anguished melancholy and tension, jointly as the human beings contained in the portray, perchance his friends, look blissfully blind to the guy's subject. The Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (1863-1944) did a number of variations of "The Scream," an regulate photograph for himself (greater in this later), in oil, pastel, and litohgraph between 1893 and 1910. This my widespread version because of the fact the stark assessment of the black-and-white traces mirrors the disconnect between the guy's temper and the non violent environment. ----------------------- IF it rather is the portray you're bearing on, it became no longer painted by Leonardo da Vinci. It became painted by the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch. ------------------------- i'm hoping it rather is helpful.

it's 20th century

I'm thinking 1930's

it's "picasso-like"
the fingers look very picasso as well as the eyes ... two side eyes

because of the fingers .. i'm pretty much sold on thinking it's a picasso, or someone who follows picasso's work

that's my opinion.
