My mother was from Puerto Rico and she made some thing that had pigs ears as the main ingredient. I am so sure that it tasted very good but couldn't let go of the fact that those were pigs ears..... ewwww Still can't eat it.

As a kid, I would not eat (1)butter, (2)cheese, (3)milk without any flavoring in it .. ..the ones I wont eat now are
1-pork
2-yeast
3-wheat or anything with gluten
4-egg
5-dairy
6-onions, garlic, leeks, shallots
7-meat, chicken, fish .. .
8-okra
9-peppers or cabbage of any kind
10-mushrooms, honey .. .

I get bad cravings for cheese pizza and butter but they make me sick if I eat them--I would give details but dont wanna be gross

Slimy okra and smelly LIVER. My mother would try to convince me it was beef, but the SMELL gave it away.Every once in awhile I accidentally buy a can of liver cat food for my cats.Even they are smart enough NOT to eat it! Ugh!

When I was a kid, it was beets, too, but they weren't pickled, just the tinned kind. Yet, I would eat liver and onions.
Now I eat beets, no problem, but wouldn't touch liver for the world...
I know more about my food now.

Brussel sprouts, lox, cauliflower, asparagus and frog legs. Oh and pickled eggs. ICK!!!

Out of those I now eat asparagus and love it. I just can't stand the canned asparagus because it is all mushy. I prefer fresh and steamed with a little lemon juice, butter, and salt and pepper.

Oh man, I got the "there are kids starving in India" lecture when I wouldn't eat: hominy (gag gag gag), salsbury steak (puke puke puke), and lumpy mashed potatoes (barf barf barf). As you can tell my mother wasn't much of a cook. I wished she would have packed that sh*t up and mailed it to some kid in India. I bet he wouldn't have eaten it either!!!!

liver, salmon croquettes, broccoli (even with cheese), sardines, potted meats, beany weinies (pork and beans with chopped up hotdogs), bologne with cheese already in it, chitlins, okra, carrots, and milk.

I still can't eat/drink these things till this day

Purple pickled beets. My grandmother used to force me to eat them. Today, I'll eat anything, as long as it doesn't eat me first.
