If you're body is proportionally correct (meaning your body is around 5-6 head lengths, including the head), then you are not a midget, just short. To be a midget, you have to not only be short, but you're body is disproportional (meaning your body would be 2-4 head lengths).

Edit: That is wrong. I got mixed up with dwarf. The definitions are the opposites, my explanation is a dwarf.

Midget is an offensive term. There is no legal definition of a little person or dwarf in the United States. Little People of America, which is a non-profit leading the way in issues concerning little people, defines dwarfism as "a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" (147 cm) or shorter, among both men and women, although in some cases a person with a dwarfing condition may be slightly taller than that."
