Take this question seriously.

I was dubious about this branch of the sport, until I started watching female fighters when Don King began featuring women fighters, particularly Christy Martin, in the mid nineties.
These chicks are serious athletes.
As one who has trained fighters, I can tell you unequivocably that the best fighters I ever coached were women.
Learn faster, easier to train and far more aggressive than their male counterparts. I mean that.

The greatest female fighter that ever lived is Lucia Rijkers from Holland.
If any of you saw 'Million Dollar Baby', she's the one that paralysed Hilary Swank. She has a website. Take a look at it.
She started off as a kickboxer, and has a record of 37-0 in that sport.
As a boxer she is 17-0.
Her skills are comparable to any world class male fighter's. A friend of mine sparred with her and told me she whacks almost as hard as a man.
Christy Martin's biggest break in life was when her fight with Rijkers fell through.

In my opinion, you are right, Lucia is the all time Greatest female fighter of all time. Now you'll get these people in this forum that will write "Laila Ali is the Greatest" she's a lot like her father was, she likes to say she's "The Greatest" to anyone who will listen and I honestly believe that she thinks it's true. The biggest difference between Laila and her father is, her father fought the very best of his time, he never ducked anyone, mean while Laila is ducking Leticia Robinson and Ann Wolfe, both these fighters are top notch female fighters, Leticia being the better of the two.
Rijkers trains just like a man. I was fortunate enough to watch her train at Freddy Roaches "Wild Card Gym" in L.A, I was looking for any excuse I could to be tough on her, to pick out her flaws, weaknesses but there were too few to criticize. The pad work she did with Freddy was phenomenal and she sparred with men and did very well, you could see there was a obvious difference between the two but she held her own.
"Cat" Davis was one of the pioneers of womans boxing, but back in the seventies there weren't too female fighters out there only a handful. Female Boxing has come a long way but it still has much futher to go. The Boxers are getting better and better each year Christy Martin, Holly Holm, Regina Halmich, Jessica Rakoczy, Jelena Mrdjenovich and Lucia Rijkers carry the banner and yet they hardly get any press at all, now you (not you) can argue that Woman don't belong in the ring, that it's a Mans sport, whatever, they are dedicated atheletes with skills and desires.

I would say Lucia Rijker has the best skill of any female fighter i've ever seen. I think she would've destroyed Christy Martin. And what ever happened to that fight? I know one of them got injured (i think it was Rijker). Why hasn't it been rescheduled? As for Laila "she be ducking" Ali, she needs to stop fighting women she outweighs by 30 or more pounds (like Christy Martin) and fight Ann Wolfe and stop ducking her. If you claim to be the best, then you fight the best. I think she knows that Wolfe would knock her out!
