I was dying my hair tonight, and it burned at first, but then it was ok. I thought it was just the inital dye hitting the scalp. I washed it out after 30 min and blow dryed my hair. Now my scalp is bright red and the root of my hair near the scalp is actually sticky with clear puss. I am so afraid I am going to loose my hair... what should I do?

If you look on the box or instruction sheet there should be an 800 number you can call to ask the company for advise. If you through them away you should be able to find it by entering the companies name in your search bar. The puss will dry and your head should start healing soon. Try to avoid getting it wet for the next few days (only wash your hair if it is absolutely necessary) and make sure you keep out of the rain as this will irritate it. Do not scratch it for any reason this will only cause it to become worse. If you can't stand the itching take some allergy medicine it will help.

It sounds like you had an allergic reaction to the dye.
Just like it says on the box, people can develop a sensitivity to it, even if you have coloured your hair many times before.
You need to see a doctor as your best chance to have it heal without infection.
In the future, you will likely never be able to use that product again. Also, always do the patch test as recommended.

make sure to be careful when you brush it out first of all spray some leave in conditioner on it.there really isnt much you can do just be very careful not to break them open let them do it by themselves.i had that happen one time and about 500 pieces of hair feel out.you left the color on to long and thats what happens.

Get to the doctor and get it treated, because you can get an infection from it.
