I just got pierced in April, with a vertical hood piercing, and I really want to experiment with my jewelry. I'm wondering, for other ladies who are pierced, what type of jewelry do you wear in your vertical hood piercing? Am I stuck with straight barbells forever? Can I put in a curved one? What about the rings with balls? I am looking to maximize my pleasure, because at this point, it doesn't really rub my clitoris the way I would like. What millimeter size balls do you have on your barbells? What length and gauge do you find fits appropriately? Do you have any websites that you use to get professional information about your piercing and its jewelry? I'd really appreciate any comments or advice about jewelry styles for VERTICAL hood piercings. (Smart@sses need not reply). Thank you! :)

Pinched for a second when the needle went through, afterwards just a little sore. Healed completely in 2 weeks. Recommend it to anyone who will listen. Just make sure you check out your piercer!

I guess no one really understands my question. I just want to know what types of jewelry are acceptable for a VERTICAL HOOD piercing. Please. Thank you.

Considering you will have had this done for bout 6 months now, you may have already found your answers, but i figured i'd send in a reply just in case ;)
Yes, you can wear curved barbells and CBRs in your vch, and I have found that the bigger the balls, the more stimulation you receive form the piercing. at the moment I only have small balls on mine, and when moved to the right or left i cannot feel them at all. (though if needed, a slight adjustment fixes that ) and, although i have never personally worn a cbr, i heard they offer the least amount of stimulation. Also handy is the fact that once healed you can experiment with different length bars. ones that are way too long, or just a teeny bit to short (for a short length of time as it may irritate it if left in for too long.) will give you different feelings than a bar that fits perfectly. same goes for different size CBRs. Larger gauges (10-8G) are better for simulation, as it touches a larger area than the smaller ones (14-16G) or if your keen you can always stretch up to very large sizes, like 6-all the way to 0G. (but again, comes down to preference)
lastly, there is the issue of your anotomy. just goes with what feel best. anyway, hope i helped!

I just got mine pierced like 2 hours ago. I love it already! It didn't really hurt when I got it pierced either. It's a little sore now but not that much and it bled a bit but I'm glad I did it!
