Generally each district only has one registry office, in Bournmouth its
the Bournemouth Register Office, Town Hall, Bournemouth, BH2 6DY. If you go there the registry office has to display a list of intended marriages on the notice board. If you see your friends name there you have the right district. However if she is getting married in a hotel or church her name will also be there (if its the same district), however there is only one registry office.

Look up numbers in Yellow Pages and ring them all. I'll bet there are no more than 3 in Bournemouth.

Assuming you have not been invited, and assuming you are well-disposed towards the couple and their marriage, rather than, say, a jealous ex or unsuccessful admirer of one of the parties, hoping to disrupt the wedding, you could call the bride and ask her if it would be ok for you to come along and wait outside for them to come out so you can offer them your congratulations and perhaps throw a bit of confetti. If you have no wish to interfere or to spoil the day in any way, then I think the only proper course of action you ought to take is to call the couple and ask directly for the information. If you can't do that, then just stay away.
