In order to solve any problem you must determine its cause. Is your husband depressed or emotionally unstable, is he anorexic, is he physically ill and so has lost his appetite? A good start would be to take him to the doctor and mention his binge eating problem because thats what it is, binge eating. If your husband is reluctant to getting checked by a physician, encourage him to eat yourself and try to make sure that this isnt just a phase that some indivuduals go through when stressed. There are some suppplements that you might consider helpful such as Ensure and other nutritional aids that will atleast help his intake of the necessary vitamins in order to function as he would under a normal diet. Note however that I am advising you without knowing much else about him, this is only a temporary solution assuming that he has no medical complications that can be severened by my suggestion.
Best wishes to you and him.

unless he is doing some type of illegal drug such as cocaine or meth, or sick mentally or physically, or have an eating disorder--- a grown man should be hungry and have an appetite more than once per day. have you asked him maybe to explain to you whats going on? has his behavior changed drastically? does he sleep normally? if he acts different and doesnt sleep normal hours then he could be using drugs such as meth or cocaine behind your back. if he is losing alot of wieght he could also be sick, (have aids or etc.) or have flu like symptoms and be tired all the time. if he has an eating disorder then he needs counseling and to see a doctor. someone might have given him a complex about his wieght and now he is forcing himself to loose wieght. men get eating disorders too you know. also he could be depressed about something. you should have a talk with him about this...and judging by his behavior answering you, you will be able to tell if he is hiding something from you or not and how concerned about this you should be. i would not ignore this though, or take it mildly if he doesnt answer you or try to figure out whats going on with his eating either. he should be curious as to why he has no appetite as well.....or he oviously knows why hes losing wieght and he should tell you why if you ask. if he doesnt share the reason with you.....you should question his honesty and behavior. no one should survive on just one meal a day. i would seek him some help. good luck.
