The most common river migratory shark is the bull shark.They are quite common in mangrove swamps of Australia and can migrate several kilometers up river in search of prey.
There have even been cases where a shark and saltwater crocs have wrestled each other! So don't go diving in Australia without fully being aware of whats in there!

Bull shark. In Africa they call it the Zambezi shark because its found so far up the Zambezi river.

Mind you, a Great White killed five people including a couple in a little river called Matawan Creek in New Jersey in about 1936.

I know they have found bull sharks in the Mississippi river, I don't know of another.
