I believe that anyone of us must have their own purpose and perception of life.
I myself still don't have one and i am still seeking it. BTW, i am reading the Purpose Driven Life. I heard from my friends that this book is really good and today is the fifth day since i read it on Monday.

I want know any of you.

Do you know your purpose of life already?
And...
If you can make a symbol or picture, what is it that will represent your life?

Thank you so much...
GBU

Finding your purpose in life is kinda like finding love....it rarely happens when your actively looking for it.

Focus on living life and enjoying the experience. Focus on doing things you love and finding ways to get paid for them, so that you are happy at work as well as at home. Focus on being kind and helpful to others because we are all in this together. And never stop learning new things everyday.

Eventually you will either understand your purpose or realize that you always have.

From a very early age I knew that I was to be a mom and also to help anyone in need. I also help with life skills to those I help so they will have something to go forward with.I am now a Gramby and help others. I try to be a good witness for God and to help others with knowing God.You can do lots of good witnessing on here if you pray about it.You never know when you will say the perfect word or two that will click for someone so they finally understa and want Jesus in their life. Best wishes and keep studying and praying. You will know soon if you don't already know! Don't be scared to do what God tells you because He will give you the strength and the methods you need.

My purpose in life is to demonstrate how creatures and creation reveal the Creator. The most significant way is by showing that we are not just made in the image of God but in the image of the Holy Trinity. I have gotten to the point in my research that it has become a formula that brings reasonable people to this logical conclusion.

The symbol I would use to represent my life would be the Star of David (which I use as a diagram to demonstrate God's essence and existence) with the upside down triangle eccentuated. It demonstrates the three aspects of our existence in its physical, mental, and spiritual components.

I have explained how we are created in the image of the Holy Trinity to demonstrate that the Holy Trinity does exist. As the scientific priniciple of cause and effect proves, we are the effect and God (our Creator) is the Cause.

What a nice post.

If you read my profile you can see my purpose in life.

My heart is there to help others. My passion is in helping women who have barriers to employment so they can provide a decent life for their children.

As far as a symbol, I once drew one and it's a Box with an open lid and a spring inside the box. To me that symbol is about a person trapped in a situation. By giving them a spring and an open lid, they can get themselves out of the situation. The spring represents an opportunity to get out of the situation, but the person has to leap onto the spring to get out. I won't lift them out, but I will give them the tools to help them if I can do so.

The purpose of life is to create and to destroy.

It's a little easier for me, my family has a motto and a coat of arms. My family's motto is "The repairer of ruins". I now live by it consciously in almost everything I do. It has been successful for us for at least the past 600 years. Find your motto and your family may be around for as long as mine.

If you do a search for my name Cheyenne Forsythe, you can see how my families motto has helped me help others.

You can even watch me on line on PBS's Frontline show called "A Soldier's Heart". Where I council a special forces soldier in Iraq and help save him from charges of cowardly conduct. If you google my name a PBS link can take you right to the show.

I disagree. Your purpose is to very simple. To get married, raise a family, and take care of your children and your parents and your grandparents. Nothing grandiouse like a big missions trip. Pick up the phone right now and call your grandma and say hi. You will be very blessed and rewarded.

Our purpose is To love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and all your soul.

In loving him (Agape style) He will show you your purpose according to His will and no other.

My only word of caution is this: Be careful as you read to not let the "Purpose Driven Life" movement become a replacement for your Holy Bible and the God who is your Creator.

purpose in life is based mostly on will power, hard work and direction. anyone can have so little purpose that they're a waste of space and that same person, realizing that you get one damn life, one damn chance to be content with everything about you, can be a hero to the people and things that matter to them.

I think the basic purpose of life...is to reach the Supreme GOD..And I think the already known and easiset path is through meditation. Most of the saints and spiritual people have achieved trmenedous spiritual success through meditation.I n Hindu religion we call it "Naam japa"..meaning repeating the name of the GOD.
I donot say that we cannot reach GOD through science ..but we donot know the exact path and there are lot of obstacles in it.

The purpose of everyone's life is to Know God, to Love God, and to Serve God. Everything else we do is second to that.
