To the answerer named "Ratbrain" - Hinduism (as recorded in writing) is about 1500 years OLDER than Christianity. Could your observation possibly be reversed?

The historical occurance of Trinities in belief systems from every culture might astonish you - the "Holy Trinity" was not initially a Christian invention.

Since Hinduism predates Christianity by thousands of years, what is the question here? The Vedic/Puranic system of thought and practice is so much more incompassing and has so much more depth than Christianity (of any kind) that it is not even worth comparing them. In fact, it can be shown where every major religious form is already represented in the Vedic system. It is the oldest system of knowledge and practrice in the world, and everything else is some dirivitive thereof (and by comparison a fad).
