He is not my type, he thinks he funny but I find him lame, uh I'm not attracted to him, I do weed and he doesn't, I have a kid and he doesn't . I don't have my life straight yet and I don't want to date anybody right now.

Be upfront and honest, isn't that what you would want someone to do for you if it was turned around. One thing you didn't ask, how can you get your life straightened out, if you are a Mom, it is time to put on your big girl panties and move up to adulthood. You have a child, your number one priority is the well being of your child. In order for you and your child to move ahead, you need to be clean, your future will be so much brighter. Maybe if you didn't do weed, you may find that this guy isn't really that bad.

Just tell him the truth, that your life isn't straight yet and you wanna fix it before you date someone and thus you don't think it will work out.

If you like him, be detailed, no matter if you think it will hurt him. Boys with no game need to be clued in.
"Roy (Or whatever his name is) I'm not into you at all. I don't like your sense of humor, I'm not attracted to you, We don't have common interrests I would need to be with someone. I'm not looking for you to change to be with me, it's just not going to happen. Would you like to to try to hook you up with one of my friends?" Don't get into how you need to straighten your life out or he'll think he's in a holding pattern. Don't tell him you want to be his friend because that $h!t is tired and it means he'll be in the bullpen waiting for you when he should be looking for the next Mrs Right.

tell him that he is not ur type and brush him off when he keeps trying to be funny...he should get the hint, if he doesnt then tell him straight that u r completely not interested in him

You know the best way if they don't understand no is to make them mad at you and make them think you are completely selfish and mean, even though you are not, and then they will leave you alone. ya, it produces a guilty feeling, but its better than being tortured all the time. :)

get really stoned with him. start making out but kiss really really bad and then freak out in the middle of kissing. he'll say what is wrong. you say that you are having some real issues and whenever you look at him you want to cry. he will feel so bad that he will want to be just friends and that could be cool for you. or he will freak and not call you anymore.

just let him know yr not ready for dating right now but will let him know when you are. a bit of a white lie but its sure not to hurt his feelings to much. read more on dating that might help you better on this site
