I think that flavored water are not included, since they may contain sugar or syntactic flavors.
However, for weight lost drinking 8 glasses of flavor water is better then none.
Water is good for your skin do to its natural ingredients, there for unnatural water might not be as affective, however when it come to weight what matters isn't the content of the water, but simply the fact that you drink something instead of eating, a lot of people who aren't drinking enough are using food as their hydration source, therefor they are eating more and gaining wait.
To be sure about this, you should compare the sugar levels and calories amount of regular water and flavored water.
Hopes that helps.

Check to see whether the flavored water also has sugar in it. If it does, you'll want to be careful how much of it you drink, or you'll substitute one problem for another.
The recommendation still applies after all these years - drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily to help maintain urinary system health. If one drinks other beverages, they can be counted so that you don't have to drink just eight glasses of water - a glass of that flavored water is okay, or diet cola, or decaf iced tea, or decaf coffee are also acceptable substitutes for plain ol' water. Admittedly, most young folks can tolerate caffiene in modest, and somtimes large, amounts, but it is a toxin and can lead eventually to some pretty uncomfortable symptoms. And again - look out for the sugar in stuff like colas and juices.

Its lies, the problem became on CBS information, and Nightly information with Brian Williams, and not one of the research reported/or proved that 8 glasses of water an afternoon helps you shed pounds, or suppress starvation, and make your skin a lot less dry, yet another study shows that you could drink as many glasses of water an afternoon as you opt to, your body will inform you once you're thirsty, and then you will be able to drink, 8 glasses,6 glasses or 15 glasses, it relies upon on how a lot someone sweats, or how briskly he receives rid of the water, by using both the elements, or the actual pastime that the man is doing.

Its a myth. Its based on an experience the British had with their garrisons in mountains of northern India during the 1800's. Many of the troops were coming down with what was thought to be altitude sickness. After an investigation by medical personnel it was determined that they were actually dehydrated by the dryer air of the region. They recommended that the troops each drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Unfortunately its entered the list of things that 'everybody knows' but just aren't true like the whole 'things get wild during a full moon' myth.

Ice Mountain Natural Spring water I find is the best tasting, and refreshing when very cold. Stay away from waters that add ingredients you don't want too much of, like potassium, sugars, etc. Especially if you plan on drinking 8 bottles a day.

What they actually say, is that you should drink 1 once for every kilo of weight... Water is best, but if you are drinking a bit of flavoured water as well it's no problem..just make sure it is low in sugars...ie carbs

half a an ounce of water per pound. If you weigh 100 pounds 50 ounces of water. Caffenated beverages are diuretics which untimately dehydrate you, so they are negative fluids.
