Is the boy your best friend's man or it's just yur best friend admiring him? It's two different things.
If he is your best friend's man (boyfriend) then you will have to wait for a while. You said he loves you. How do you know? Did he tell you or just expressed his feelings in some other way?
If he is just someone your best friend admire, then there is nothing wrong to accept him. But first of all, do you love him?
If yes, then carry on.
If he is your best friend's boyfriend, I suggest you not to take any action, He may have changed his heart seriously, or may be just playing around. You have to observe carefully because it will break your best friend's heart if you accept him and you and your best friend will head for a break up.
Let me give you an example. I mean, it really happened to me. I admired this guy. My sister knows it. That was during our college time. When I left college, my sister got to know the guy through his brother. Later, the became a couple. My sister was afraid to tell me because she know that I like him. But she gathered her courage to let me know. It was OK with me. The guy was not my man before so there is no problem. I just admired him.
They are getting married soon. As for me, I found my love and got married last year!

Do you like that guy ? First of all clear that to yourself if your answer is no then clear that to the guy who proposed you , or if your answer is yes then it is on you that what you need to do now. My advise is that , sorry if i am wrong ,love is serious feeling about a person and if your feeling is not madness then it isnot love.And may be you are totally unknown of it. So first of all think about the feelings of yours and your friend's about the guy who propsed you. You can convince that guy may be you are not the right person for him but your freind could be. And in last i will say that whom we consider as love is just our infactuation and nothing else .When you will be in love you need not any one for knowing is your step is right or not.

I Think definitely it should be a big time NO.I mean u really cannot trust him on this.There is no gaurantee that he might not hit on ur sister tomorrow.He will take u for a BIG RIDE and soon u may b in midst of nowhere.So ask him to take a chill pill and hey do tell ur best frnd abt it if u care abt her as she is happy thinking that her MAN is SUPERMAN.Bye Take Care

it's ur friend vs bastard whom is gonna break ur best friends heart for u.
plus know this if he is in love with u while he has a girlfriend .
even if u say yes to him he might do the same to you.
word of advise a good friend is hard to find but there are so many other guys you can be with.

Put aside his feelings for you and your friend's feelings for him for a second and ask yourself: how do you feel about him? If you are in love with him, and he's in love with you, then maybe you should take the plunge. If you're not in love with him, then stick with your friend and say no to the guy.

If that boy loves you and you cam return those feeling to him. I don't see why you should have to deny your heart, if your best friend is like your sister she will understand that it's what best for all of you. She might not like it but she will understand.
