Well, there is AER or whatever it is called for your Branch. BUT, why can't you manage your money? You JUST got there and need money already? If you are married, and maybe even single, you 'should' get DLA. Talk to your S-1 *sorry, I am Army Spouse, so only know of Army areas*....they can assist you. If you have to get a Loan, I believe you will need to have Top or CO approve you going to see AER. ALSO, they may even order you to go to Finance Classes....and yes, they CAN order you to go. If they do, then they can find out all about your meetings....If you go on your own, then the Unit has no right to know....

Yeah there are programs to get help. When I was in Korea you had to inprocess through ACS, they go over the different programs they offer, and one of the is help with financial issues. I also think if you are a first term soldier it is mandatory. Talk to your NCO's, they should know how to get you help.

yes ,Army Emergency Relief is a loan/grant program operated through the ACS -army community service on all posts.the small loans are recovered by payroll deduction or if needed you can get a grant that is not repaid.most often used by married soldiers that need car repair.ACTIVE DUTY REGULAR ARMY ONLY.

to many of those "buy me drinky girls" huh? Well there are programs up but you know as well as I do you have to start with your COC and unless you have a good reason for being out of money they will laugh in your face and make you do extra duty at least thats what they'd do in the corps.
