Dont you hate those days when all you feel like youve done is screamed at the kids all day long.
We all have them and luckily its not everyday
Try to seperate them or taking things away as punishment....time out is an option.
but some days doesnt matter what you do you never win.
Tomorrow is a new day and im crossing my fingers that its a better day for you.
Take care and enjoy them.....even when they're a thorn in your side.....lol

I tell you, sometimes it doesn't get any better when they get older. I can deal with my 2 year-old running and screaming through the house and playing his drums and little toy guitar, but my adult (and I use that term loosely) step-kids fight worse than little kids. They are 20 & 21 and them and their friends always have some kind of drama and the phone is ringing off the hook because of some kind of tiff. Makes me want to kick the whole lot of them out! Between the two step-kids, my husband and our son there are 2 of the step-kids friends staying here right now so there is 7 people...talk about a nut house!

Sounds like you need some time out. Get someone to look after the kids and go out for dinner and a movie if possible. I understand how you feel I have two boisterious Little boys aged 4 and 3 and sometimes it does get too much.

I have 4 childrens a lengthy time period 14, thirteen, 9, & 7. i understand precisely what you're speaking about. My childrens are starting to be more beneficial positive merely through transforming into older. i imagine the biggest ingredient you should do in case you quite opt to get this less than administration (and it appears like you do) is to right this moment quit the habit the prompt it starts. it really is especially time eating and under no circumstances a lot exciting in the beginning, even if it worked with mine. do not enable them get to the point it really is quite sensible to scream to be heard. through that aspect they're already so wound up that no longer something can help. We use nook time. party, my youngest toddler is undesirable about yelling totally too loud. He yells, he is going into the nook. He whines or acts up even as interior the nook, he stands there longer. back, you have to be VERY consistent about this. And it sucks to should be a drill sergeant actually, even if it does paintings. once they figure out you advise business enterprise, life will be a lot calmer. strong success.

My kids are 8,7,3 and 10 months and the oldest three fight about everything..it drives me nuts.I come from a big family and fighting is a given when kids are forced to be around each other...even a child and there best friend will start to fight if they spend tomuch time togather...its nature. If they come out with a pill or shot to stop it i will be right there with my kids! Its not that you dont discipline either so dont think that.

I know what you mean. I have 4: 14, 11, 24mos. and 4mos. The worst of course are the 14 and 11, they act waaaay worse than my toddler. I just adopted a "no tolerance" attitude for fighting since my baby came along because I was tired of yelling all day. Here's what I do: first cross word to one another gets them sent to their room w/no phone/TV or snacks the rest of the day. Sounds harsh I know, but hey, believe me it works. They know I mean business now, so they seldom screw up anymore!! (of course I don't punish the toddler like this, since he doesn't know better) The thing is that he was learning the yelling/fighting habits from the older two. so that's when I said NO MORE! I didn't want him growing up hearing that crap and acting worse than them, so I simply do not tolerate it from the older ones....PERIOD Oh, and P.S.....Never let em see you sweat! (don't let em know your stressing over this, they seem to get worse when they sense you're getting weak! Be tough

When my kids were little they would fight and I realized they fought less when I ignored it. Sometimes, not always, they fight to get your attention. If they're really hurting each other I would get involved, but most of the time they are really just learning how to deal with other people and it will help them in the real world

All I have to say about that is THANK GOD school is back in session. I swore I was about to kill some kids the last three weeks of summer! God help us all, lmao.
A break will/would do us all some good.
I always wondered how it would turn out if I gave them all one of those foam bats and told them to beat the hell out of eachother, hrmmmm.

Always remember..."this too shall pass..." I have four 20,19,17 and 15. As they get older the fighting gets less and less. But I still have those days with the two youngest. If at all possible try to get some alone time, it helps you regroup. You HAVE to take care of yourself!

You can bet there are, they pay me good money to help them sort it out. Here's a free tid bit. The book STEP has everything you need in it as far as techniques for parenting. Then there are your own issues that get in the way,,,need to be in control, taking things personally, and interpreting things as failures that are normal examples set, all that work on yourself stuff.
