The recent hatred toward Islam has caused me to ponder once again what my stance should be as a professed follower of Jesus Christ.

As a CHRISTian, may I say that there are many people who boast the name of Christ in their lives, while misrepresenting Him completely. God forgive them and forgive me if I should ever do the same.

Wearing the cloak of CHRISTianity as if it gives credence to your self-serving ideals is NOT CHRISTianity. It is merely another man-made religion that seeks to serve the man or men who created it.

To serve Christ and live by all He taught is to live a selfLESS life while making one's self a servant to all, including your enemies, including the Muslims who might seek to lop your very head off.

If you are going to wear the cloak of CHRISTianity, then at the very least know what that truly involves, or at the very least, call your man-made religion by some other name and leave Christ out of it.

Anybody can say that their a christian, that's just a title. The most important thing is your one to one relationship with God. That is what counts. And just saying your a Christian and not living the way God said in the Bible. many are going to be surprised at the second coming of Christ. And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes. Deuteronomy 17:19 . For all have sinned and fell short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23, And these words what I command you today shall be in your heart. Deuteronomy 6:6

i don't know what you are talking about. Read the New Testament Epistles and you will find warnings against those who deny the name of Christ and teach false teachings the Apostle Paul called them demons and evil spirits. I think our warnings and admonishments are twisted into hatred by those who miss the point those who follow Christ Christianity is a religion of peace and Islam isn't

Christianity is predicated on a sequence of historic activities, prophecies that have come authentic, and eye witness comments with the help of many authors which correspond to writings of alternative authors from distinctive centuries. the percentages of that occuring with the help of twist of destiny are off the chart. Christianity is God made, no longer synthetic. God had a plan, and He wrote it down by way of adult men over centuries of time, and proved that it grew to become into Him doing it with the help of confirming what adult men stated 2000 years in the past in early writings, for the time of the existence, dying, burial and resurrection of Christ. Christ fulfilled each prophecy written approximately Him. Even Nostradamus did no longer get them very nicely. because of the fact the Bible has shown this is own accuracy prophetically, this is for sure no longer synthetic, yet God breathed. Christianity grew to become into God's thought.

All Christians misinterpret what they are, don't think you are above it all. Of course it is man made, why do you think there are so many flaws in it? Why can't Christianity teach one how to be open minded and observe the physical world the way that it actually is.

Thank you for your unjudging question.
I think people screw most things up with their willfulness- it's the old theme from the garden of eden.
Religion sometimes clouds the waters of true spirituality.
I think Christ can defend His holy self, and we don't need to try to guide the steps of other believers, even if they are misguided.

They will know we are Christians by our LOVE!
By loving others, you are loving Him!
Bless you sister! and our God's perfect love to you forever!

Well, these hard core radical Islamic Muslims want to KILL ALL who are not Muslim... Now It gets real hard to talk and negotiate with someone who's goal is your death. Jesus said if your enemy slaps your cheek to offer your other cheek for him to slap as well.
He does not say if your enemy wants to slice your head off to let him!

What's your question? Doesn't the Bible say that you are to follow the laws of the land? Well, the laws of the land of Yahoo! Answers say that you must ask a question in question form. I think your "cloak of Christianity" just fell on the floor.
