A hair mask, like Neutorgena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask work miracles. My hair was thick and gorgeous too, and then something went wrong when I colored it and had to remove the color then re dye. This stuff saved my hair.

One of your problems may be that you're washing your hair too much. Shampoo is crucial to hair, especially when it is applied many times, really often.Use a dry shampoo, that cleanses your hair like a shampoo, but less harmful. Try limiting washing your hair to every other-every 2-3 days. Also, when you shower trying using a shower cap or just rinsing it with water. A little sweat wont hurt, right? Or, use conditioner as a shampoo buy lathering it at the scalp, it will break up the pollution up there. Better yet, use water. Argon/ Moroccan oil will do the trick. Add just a small amount to your hair, because the stuff is rich and too much can make it greasy. When you straighten your hair, do not use a lower heat, because you will only have to go over and over it again, which is even more damaging. instead of using heat protection before drying, spray it on the section of hair before straightening it. Good luck! (:

Redken makes a shampoo and conditioner called "All Soft" they contain avacado oil and really help when you use the shampoo and conditioner together. Redken does cost more than the drug store brands however. Pantene has a "smooth and sleek" line that is pretty good and not as expensive. Since your hair is damaged from overprocessing you need to start using a conditioner you can leave on for at least 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle at least once or twice a week. After rinsing you can even use just a little dab of the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle worked into the ends of your hair before blow drying.

Trim the ends. Use a deep penetrating moisturizing leave on hot oil treatment/conditioner. Look around for a protection foam or spray that can actually help your hair when it is blow dried look out for alcohol in the products as it can dry. Use a pH balanced in your pH range shampoo and conditioner every day. Do not over dry your hair. Do not stretch it with a brush or comb while drying it only when it is slightly damp do you begin to give it shape etc. Dry your hair with your hands pulling it up in sections. Turn your head upside down and dry undeneath lifting up the hair with your hands. Just Dry it then use a hot curler to give it shape or better yet those steam curlers which are better. Some have some conditioners for the hair you can put in with the water.

Leave mayonaise on your hair for awhile then rinse it out with some water mixed with vinegar then shampoo it out. It works good for replacing lost oils etc. But get it out all the way what is not absorbed in as it will not smell good if left in.

L'oreal Liss control is great, mashed avocado also, honey too but you have to leave it for 1/2 hour with warm towel before rince, jojoba oil good for dry hair and skin, but what really helps when you take vitamins and protein. There is this herbal remedies; Gotu Kola you might find it in natural health shop. It works wonder for anti ageing, strong thick hair, break cellulite and strenght the nails
Also green beans; take a hand full and boil with 4 glass of water let it boil until it reduce to 2 glass then drink the water only. Do it every morning. It also helps prevent white hair.

A good trim on the ends helps. Conditioner is only a temporary fix, a trim will removes any split and dry ends. Then use a good conditioner to seal the tips of the ends of your hair. Matrix conditioning Balm is good. Or if you want to use a la natural you can use olive oil just apply on the tips only since the base of your hair produces natural oil already. So applying it on the tips of your hair will do.

A really cheap way to manage dry ends is to use Olive Oil - yep, the one for cooking. Simply oil the ends of the hair and leave it on as long as possible - even over night if you can. Then shampoo it out as usual and use a deep conditioner. It works like a charm!

i would use pantene pro-v restoratives conditioner, or else the neutrogena 3 minute conditioner. those are heavy conditioners that really moisturize your hair and make it look so much healthier! also, use a straightening balm in your hair before you blow dry and straighten so you don't fry your hair anymore. also, you can cut down on how often you blow dry and straighten, maybe that's why your hair isn't as moisturized as it used to be. hope my advice helped.

first you need to trim it...you most likely have dead ends...maybe your stylist has some type of conditioning treatment...you can also find other deep conditioning products that are inexpensive but work very well.....and every time you straighten your hair use a protective spray...i use one by CHI...works well
