That support the fact that God looks at all sin the same way and doesn't say one is worse than the other.

Basically No there are 2 types of sin the adamic sin we inherited from adam and our imperfect ability to follow his laws perfectly in other words we all sin daily by what we do wrong or by what we fail to do that is right and then there is the second type Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that is un forgiveable and is vastly worse like comparing a flickering candle light to a supernova both give off light but in vastly different amounts hope this helps Gorbalizer

No.

All sin is not the same. If we look at 1John 5:16-17, we see, If any sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is a sin that is not deadly.

It is from this scriptural basis that the Catholic Church derives the theology of venial sin (sin that is not deadly) and mortal sin (sin that is deadly - that which kills the soul)

This differentiation of venial and mortal sin also moves into the Church's teaching on purgatory. The purging of any remaining venial sin (sin that is not deadly) after physical death and prior to entering into God's presence. Discussion of these topics seems to be upsetting for a lot of people. I know the "thumbs down" are coming. Sorry.

Sin is a sin there is no small or big sin. Since Jesus christ had come to shed is percious blood for the sin he did not comitte but for your sin and my. As long as we go on our kneel and beg for forgiveness even is the sin of Blasphemy our Lord God will forgive us because of the Son jesus Christ. No matter our sin as long as we confess and call on the name of jesus with his special grace we are forgiven. All we need is to say God have mercy on me through your son Jesus christ. Our righteouness is a firty rag in the sight of God is by the Grace of christ jesus that our sin is being forgiven

There's: "If the hand offends cut it off, if the eye offends pluck it out." I think that statement was applied to all offenses, meaning no one was worse than another. I can't remember off the top of my head what Book it's in.

James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

It seems that there are greater degrees of sinfulness and greater punishments for those sins. Check out this website for more info and references. http://www.christiancourier.com/articles/read/are_some_sins_greater_than_others

There is, but sorry, I honestly can't remember where it is. I will look it up, and if someone hasn't given the specific chapter, then I will get back to you on it.
