beliving in you faith or proving your faith?
if you believe and i mean really believe then why is it so important to prove to everyone that you are right?
shouldn't you just be able to be happy knowing in your heart that you are right?

Proving your faith becomes a little too hypocrite if you become too showy about it (for example: boasting of being blessed by God for being so kind and righteous or having wars because of religious differences). But if you believe, you just have to live your faith( for example, if you believe that all people are children of God, then treat them all people with respect). Although these 2 aspects are important- I still go for believing.

I have found that the people who usually argue about religion are those who have issues in the belief. But those who truly believe, have found true happiness and want to share it with others. But they do not argue about the religion because they know the spirit of God is love, and Satan's is contention.

The thing with being right about anything is that for a person to believe to be right about something is if she or he knows someone else is wrong. Really, there is not a right or wrong or sin. When it comes to the heart it is not about an intellectual 'knowing' it is about feeling God. God is Love.

Believing in it. With the way of the world today, ministering and evangelizing is just about next to impossible. Most people don't even care about religion. They don't attend church, nor do they think they need to. I do have to say, that my church has a good following and stands behind the needs that of the church as well. We're very lucky to have so many people that care about their beliefs and stand by them........

They go hand in hand.
Believing in your faith means walking in the Spirit, and when you walk in the Spirit you are proving your faith.

believing is the most important. one can always play the part of "the good christian" but is their heart true to God? one's actions have no validity if the heart is not true. God knows our hearts. it's important to keep that ongoing relationship. that way, the connection with God grows and proof will come naturally through our everyday actions. our actions will have sincerity behind it and God will know it and be pleased.

Beliving in your faith

its not that. you see to know your faith is right is to follow what your faith teaches and one of those things is sharing that faith with others. i don't know about other religions, but Christan's are taught to share and teach and spread the word of our faith to others to do this is also a way to help others to that faith. to just be happy is like hiding a happiness that we want to share to help others be happy. our faith gives us joy and happiness and we want to share that.

Agreed. If you are confident in your religion you don't see the need to convince anyone else.
