What is it about people who want to leave their chewed gum on their plate? I'm sorry, but that is just plain gross to others who are at the table, as well as unsaintary to the one who is planning to put it back in their mouth after dinner! I especially am offended when adults do this! Throw it away, and get a fresh stick for after dinner! Anybody else feel the same way about this disgusting habit?

I guess it would gross me out a little more if I didn't have 4 kids. I think I've been de-sensitized to a lot of gross, lol! However, for some reason, I can't recall the last time I saw an adult doing it. I probably would be a touch put off if I had gone and made a nice dinner.

I use to wonder about that too til I finally ask someolder people. They said that gum back then was expensive because of the cost of living back then, they really pinched pennies and they didnt get gum by the pack as we do now.anyway they would save it and chew it forever lol. They would even put it on the bed post and get up in the morning and chew it again. I bet there gum held the taste longer back then but now its just old school

lol i've done it, but i would never ever ever ever do it in public. only when i'm by myself and i just started chewing it but i decide i want to like eat a sandwich or something and not waste a fresh piece. if i've been chewing it a while it's not worth it.
i do not stick it on my hat or anywhere gross either. i put it on a clean plate i'm not eating off of or i wrap it up or something.
what bugs me is when my bf can't be buggered to spit his gum in the garbage before going to bed and leaves it on the night table while he's sleeping. ARGH that drives me up the wall

I haven't seen this. I guess I've been travelling in the right circles. I think it's disgusting. I'm not a big fan of chewing gum anyway and I really don't like to see anything that's been chewed.

I'm right there with you it's gross. I hate it if I'm in a restauraunt and someone has stuck gum underneath the table only to have youre leg bump into it later. putting it in a napkin, Rude behavior. I'm and adult too.

that is gross what about people who stick the gum on the underside of the table or other places people normally touch? and for "saving" gum for later that is being cheap and gross

That's pretty gross and I don't even chew gum. They should swallow it, throw it away or stuff it in a napkin.

OMG I think we were seperated at birth! My father in law leaves his abc gum all over the house, he is now banned from gum when he comes over.

Yes!!! what about on the glass when they drink, or on the end of their finger or like my daughter Say's her band teacher pulls it out and sticks it on the bill of his ball cap and then later puts it back in his mouth!!!! GROSS!!!!!!!! We're right there with you..
