It's hurtful, painful, ego shattering, everything negative you can think of that it would be for a woman. I've thought it funny, as times have changed, how women react to rejection in the world of equality. It's appears as though it stuns a woman when she's rejected. That's the way it is for a man, too. I wonder if the ladies wouldn't have been more kind in their rejection had they known how hard it is to work up the courage to ask for a man. Also, you hear all the time about beautiful women who complain that no one ever asks them out. Imagine how shattered you'd be if you were rejected by someone you thought was fantastic looking? Most people won't even set themselves up for it. I have always waited, or barely suggested, I've been let down too many times. Basically, I need a woman with a road map so I know which direction to go!

Men have more experience with rejection and seem to handle it better. They usually don't weep and moan, they just focus their attention on someone else. When women get rejected by men they put up this defensive denial - "oh, it's not me. he must be gay". Women HATE being rejected.
