Continental is the best airline in the industry. It has the best safety record and provides a uniform level of service wherever you want to go.

Northwest is a close second.

Internationally, British Airways is the most comfortable, followed closely by Continental and KLM. Lufthansa has the cleanest and most efficient service, but sometimes the Nazi mentality comes out in the crew members. The seats are also smaller.

Singapore airlines is the best airline in the pacific region -- period.

Steer toward Boeing aircraft and steer away from "scare-bus" - I mean "Airbus". Though they all work well enough. Seats are a little cramped in the back of some airbus aircraft.

That depends, the best rated airline last year by the consumers was Frontier. If you are not planning on traveling the Midwest, you have to make a decision based on other options. As a travel agent I hear nothing but complaints on United, Southwest and Airtran. Almost all the airlines offer the same services. If you are going to be flying I would just look for the best price.

depending where you want to go. Delta is a pretty good one i always fly though there but i heard AA was ok to. There are also many smaller ones like Flypanam.com spiritair.com. Just do a yahoo search of the nearest airpot and look up all the airlines they have. But overall, i would say all the airlines are pretty much the same

NONE, if you are flying cattle/business/first class with all the regular commercial carriers like jet blue, AA, continental, etc.

you'll get better service if you were a corporate client, and went with some commercial corporate jet service. no need to take off your shoes during security screening (if any), no anal probes, personal service, not having to sit squeezed in a middle seat with the smell of vomit in the air. of course, one would have to pay thousands of dollars per flight. but that is what some airlines are doing right now, trying to cut mass market airline service and transfer resources over to the lucrative corporate jet market.

Continental. They have the youngest fleet in the industry and a good selection of flights with competitive prices. They also have great customer service and still serve food. It's not gourmet, but at least you get something besides pretzels for a four hour flight.

If you want to travel where they fly, give Midwest Airlines a go. They are "The Best Care in the Air" and they prove it.
