We have a Chase Rewards card. They have a variety of reward programs. Ours doesn't have an annual fee and we can cash in our points for all sorts of gift certificates for hotel stays, restaurants, electronics, etc. I like our card because it gives us 5 pts for every $1 spent on gas, groceries and other things we have to buy anyway. I think you get a $50 GC for every 500 points. So it's like getting $50 for every $100 we spend. I just avoid paying interest by paying the balance as soon as I get the bill. It works for us.

Discover has a relatively good rewards program. I believe that American Express also has a relatively good rewards program.

I'm not really sure if Diner's Club has a rewards program or not, but you want want to check them out as well.

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

The Discover gas card is good because it gives you all the benefits of the Platinum card but you get a better Cashback Bonus on buying gas... I think it is up to 5%. And you can have that cash go straight into a savings account or tward your Discover bill.

well, Mastercard and Visa are the most widely accepted. I would opt for one of those first, but American Express has some good cash back programs available.
